Location sessions are so stinking fun. They allow your families true personalities to shine! You will always be the star of the show when you select a location session with La Bella Sole Photography! All our Family Location sessions (outdoor) are done about an hour before sunset. This is when the light is ideal and will get you the family portraits you have always dreamed of. Imagine having a true work of art hanging on your wall of those you love most in the entire world.

WE ARE WITH YOU EVERY STEP OF THE WAY
We will design every part of your photo session with you. You will help us plan every little detail. Selecting a location in the scrounging areas of Ogden, Utah can be hard. But we will help you find the perfect location that best fits your specific needs and style!
We have a 4 step process for our family Location Experiences.
Step 1: The Design Consultation:
The first thing you need to do is Fill Our Our form. Which you can do by clicking any of the buttons on this page. Then we will call you back with in 24 business hours to schedule your Design Consultation. Once at your consultation we will learn all about your family, who you are and what your vision is. We will help you find the perfect out door setting for photo session. We will also go over our 4 step process with you in detail, book your date and time by collecting our $199 session fee, as well as signing your session agreement. Once that is done, we will plan poses, colors and even what to wear to your portrait session with you. This appointment has a lot of info, but don't worry we will send you home with a full welcome guide that will have all those details in it just incase you for get a few of the details.

Step 2: The Experience (photo session)
The day we planned together has finally arrived! It is go time... We will meet at your location and get started. Your session will usually last 30 - 60 minutes (this usually depends based on the kids ages... And Dads, cause we all know family pictures usually has a grumpy Dad that just wants this over with. HA!) We will do a wide variety of poses, and have so much stinking fun. Remember, we are out here creating memories that every time you look at the artwork in your home, you will travel back in time to this very moment. We want it to be special, and really tell the story of who your family is this very moment! Once we are done with your session, we will book you in for your reveal party (next step). So have those calendars ready. Oh, we will also send you an email with instructions on how to prepare for ordering appointment. We can actually put your images on your walls so you can see exactly what the art work will look like. But you have to do the homework. And I promise we make is super easy for you!!!
Step 3: Proofing and Ordering (reveal party)
Or as we like to call it, your Reveal Party! This is when you will get to see all the magic we created together of your beautiful family during their portrait experience. You will find the portraits you love the most, and then together we will create art work for your home. But I will warn you, there might be tears. But no worries, we will have tissues ready for you. This is also the time that we will take payment for your artwork. We know that these decisions can be hard, and that is why we will be there with you every step of the way. If you get stuck we will ask you some questions to help you make the perfect decisions for you and how you want to tell your story! Once you have completed payment, we will then edit all the portraits you selected and order all your amazing products that are the perfect fit for your home and or loved ones.
Step 4: Art Work Pickup
When you reach this step, this means that all your artwork is at the studio and ready for your final review. We encourage you to touch and open everything! Exceeding your expectations is our goal. So before we package everything up and have you sign for your artwork, we have you look at everything. And not going to lie, while we never want you sad, we love it when tears come to your eyes and we can see that you loved our time together.
How do we book our session and can we book on weekends?You have already filled out our form. We call you within 24 business hours to chat with you and book on the phone. Please note that we usually do not make calls on the weekends. Yes! We photograph on select weekends. But these dates fill up fast! FYI our weekends in October and November are reserved for Fall and Holiday sessions. If your baby's birthday is in the fall, you will need to book your session on a weekday.
What themes are available for my session?We have a wide variety of props and backgrounds and can typically work with our clients to photograph most themes or color combinations. Many parents often bring with them elements from the decorations for the birthday party to personalize their set. When we chat on the phone we can talk about the options and create a look you will love! Please keep in mind while we can do an inspired by theme, we can not do trademarked themes. For example, lets say you are having a Pooh themed birthday. We have a background that looks like the hundred acre wood, and we will add hunny pots and Pooh colors, but we can not add any of the actual characters. But I promise we do this all the time. As you can see from all our smash cake portraits above, and they are always adorable.
Do I have to bring my own cake?No!! We know you are a busy mom and have lots to do! This is one way we can remove the stress from your day. When we chat on the phone to plan your session, we will discuss colors and themes and then we will get your cake ordered. Yes.... your baby will get to eat the most delicious Handmade cake by our amazing Cake Maker Trista! Don't worry ... we won't judge if you sneak a taste or finish their cake after the session is over! - However, if your baby has a food allergy, we are not able to provide the cake.
How many images do you take?During your session we aim for the following scenes: 1. Simple set and outfit that isn't themed for birthday 2. Outfit that matches the color of the balloons 3. Smash Cake time! After your session, we edit through your images and prepare them for you to view. We invite you to come back to the studio within a week of your session to view your images on our big screen projector. This is when you choose your favorites to purchase. From most first birthday sessions we show between 30-50 portraits for you to select your art work from
Do you offer digital images?Yes we do! . They are available to purchase from your session in a variety of ways. We want our clients to have printed versions of their images to last a lifetime, but we know how important digital images are to moms as well! All of our custom-designed albums come with matching digital images. You can also purchase a collection of high resolution digital images at your reveal party as well.
Are parents and siblings included?Oh this is a hard one to answer. But let me explain why. YES, we can have parents and or siblings jump in for a few shots on the 1st set. But here is why we are slightly hesitant. We know that we have 30 minutes max of actual camera time before your baby loses interest, and will want to be done. We have a work flow that is quick, but never makes you feel rushed and is designed to keep your little one happy. The longer that we spend on the 1st set, the less time we have at the end of your session, and it might result in an unhappy one by the time we reach the smash cake portion of your experience. So the short answer is yes, of course we can add in parents and siblings and we are always happy to do what you wish. However, we also suggest that this particular session type, focus on your little one and their special day.
